How do I check the oil on my motorcycle?

It doesnt have a dipstick. I dont mean to sound stupid but I am new to this and dont know much about bikes. How do I check the oil on my motorcycle?
1- Start your bike and let it run for about a minute.

2- Shut it off and put it on centerstand. If you don't have a centerstand, wheel-jack it or get someone to hold it level.

3- Get down on the ground next to the engine and there should be a round glass window about the size of a nickel that's about as low as you can get. It's probably on the same side as the oil cap. You should see oil flowing back into the pan. There should be a pair of horoz lines next to the glass (one very low, one at or near the top) that mark low and high. I like mine on the high side.

You don't HAVE to run the bike, but it will get the oil flowing out and into the pan and prevent a dirty sight glass from making you think there's oil when there's not.

If you're low or can't remember the last time you did an oil change it's a good idea to just change the oil and be done with it.How do I check the oil on my motorcycle?
Always give year, make, engine size and model # when asking questions. We need all of that info to give an informed answer.

Some bikes have a -

dipstick

oil level sight glass

check bolt

some cheap scooters and kids bikes have nothing - drain the oil and fill with the specified measured amount.
there should be a sight glass where you check the level. Have someone hold the bike up straight and look at the glass. You can see the oil and it should be about halfway up.
surely there is a port hole glass window on the right side of engine some times there is a screw near the filler to act as a leveller what kind of bike is it
