What is the difference between motorcycle oil, and car oil?

By what numbers do you tell if they are the same or not? I'm not talking about weight.

The engines of both the vehicles are different and the working of it is different so you need different oils for both the vehicles.In case of motorcycle you use 2t oils and in case of cars you use engine oilWhat is the difference between motorcycle oil, and car oil?
when bike oil says 10W30 it means 10W30 but the oils have cleaner and have more thermal and lubricity properties than normal motor oil as most are air cooled and hot and many bikes use motor oil for the tranny too, which takes a very high grade of oil.
usually motorcycle oil has an additive to work with the clutch as it runs in the same oil as the crankcase on most bikes
My Honda motorcycle took 10w40.





Unless it's a 2-cycle, motorcycle and car oil are the same. It just depends on the recommended weight for each.

if your not talking about weight then done oil is oil... most bikes run 20/50
I just watched CNN’s international Channel(3pm EST), breaking the news that oil price spikes again. But the anchor and the reporter assert it is China’s diesel demand contributed to the hike.





Waited a sec ! It is already THIRD time I am hearing CNN’s assertion of China’s diesel demand. The first time was about two weeks ago. What’s going on?





Then, Israel’s-Iran-attack-drill news flashing back-------Which Was Just Happened This Morning ! That “unmistakable signal” is surely an act to have a consequence of oil supply disruption ! Why is it not reported as a oil spiking cause ? !
