How much frying oil do fast food chains such as Mcdonalds and burger king use on a weekly basis?

Most places use a fair amount each week as they clean there fryer on a regular basis, and now in some country's recycle it for soap or other products, the container are around 20 litres depending on the country of origin, they filter it at least 2 times before disposing of it.

Figure the number of fryer in the unit and there volume of business, plus some use a different fryer for french fries/chips and the chicken/fish items, so figure 80-100-120 litres a week would not be outrageous, I am a former chef and in a non-fast food place we still changed ours and filtered it to weekly and bi-weekly..How much frying oil do fast food chains such as Mcdonalds and burger king use on a weekly basis?
Hey i used to work at Mc Donalds but in Australia we don't have 'burger king'.

Anyway at my work we would change the frying oil once every 2 weeks and at times it'd get nearly to the colour black it was quite gross. In the meantime when the oil would go down a little bit we would just top it up with more.

I estimate on a weekly basis we'd use at least 50-100 litres and then create 100 from frying burgers, which we sometimes recycled :P ha ha it was so gross I'm so glad I don't work there anymore. How much frying oil do fast food chains such as Mcdonalds and burger king use on a weekly basis?
