Start it and hit the throttle a few timesHow do you drain the oil from a 1999 harley road king?
It's the horizontal plug bottom of the crankcase (left side of the bike). For further info, (i change motor oil, transmision and primary fluids at the same interval), transmission is vertical plug (right side of crankcase), primary drain toward rear of primary cover beween the last 2 bottom cover bolts.

you never hasve to change the oil on a harley they leak enough to flush themselves jsut keep adding oil and keep riding
Left side front on the crankcase.
First off let me say that gooserid is a horses ***. That being said, I suggest you buy the H-D service manual. They are about 60 bucks and tell you exactly how to do everything you'll need to your scooter!
